On
July 29 our 7:00 pm weekly Yoga and Meditation
class will include a gracious Oneness Blessing, after Yoga with
fabulous Kumari de Silva, and a great prelude to Meditation
with Founder Ruth Handy, given by Joyce Dvoren. Oneness Blessing
is a transfer of Divine Energy which is one of many deekshas
(benedictions) that helps to align the chakras (energy centers)
of the body and to balance the right and left hemispheres of
the brain, sometimes initiating or enhancing an ongoing awakening
process.
Joyce and her husband Ken are week-end residents in PMC. A healer
for over 15 years, Joyce Dvoren is also a Yoga Teacher (RYT),
a certified Reiki Master and is trained in Pranic Healing and
Theta Healing I & II.
Suggested donation $10.
On
July 30 at 12:30 pm Dr. Annie Rikel will be
teaching a class at the Center entitled Heal Yourself Learn
how to ‘decharge’ daily, accumulated stress, which
can lead to disease. There are two energies running on this
planet, positive and negative. Unfortunately, negativity is
all around and we are subject to it daily.
“Through the techniques I have learned during my one year
training and education while living in India with Swami Sri
Kaleshwar, I will teach a practical method that is ‘quick
and easy’ to release negative energy from the body. You
will immediately be able to implement this practice into your
daily life. Using the Five Elements of nature for ‘decharging’
is a simple, yet powerful, practice that provides an enormous
relief to the human energy system, (physical, emotional, mental,
spiritual).”
Annie
Rikel, a resident of PMC, had a Chiropractic practice in Woodland
Hills for 25 years. She has studied for over a decade with Lakota
elders and worked for over a decade in shamanic studies. Since
2006 she has been studying and traveling to India to continue
her journey and education of energy healing systems. She has
amazing stories and experiences to share, along with ancient
knowledge of the Divine through teachings from India’s
saints and sages.
All participants of her class will receive gifts to use in the
techniques taught, thus being able to implement the techniques
learned immediately.
Soup served afterward.
