Also to further the spirit of volunteerism in the community , especially in our families, and their children 1994 Moved to Pine Mtn Club 1996- present  Volunteered at Lilac Festival 1998 Became a member of our local merchants association The PMVMA a non- profit organization helping to bring commerce and charity to PMC  ( President of PMVMA  for approx last 6 years 1998 began volunteering for our Annual Spring Clothing Exchange organizers Eileen Applegarth & Jeannie Quintana 2000 to present volunteer  Wine in the Pines  2002 Became organizer of Spring Clothing Exchange ( now sponsored by Let's Live Local) 2008 Lilac Festival Parade organizer 2013 Organized "Everything Exchange" in August & Winter Clothing Exchange in November These exchanges are close to my heart, all goods are exchanged free of charge, and leftovers are distributed to local charities, Shelter on the Hill, Vine Pregnancy and also homeless outreach programs in Ventura & Los Angeles. My co chairperson Tara Sgambellone opens her garage for all three and is a big part of the success of these events. 2014 Initiated  the program thru Sierra Clinica for free teeth cleanings at our local PMC dentist in association with our June Healthfaire.
